14 killed in twin Maoist attacks in Chhattisgarh


CHHATTISGARH: At least 14 people, including poll officials and CRPF troops were killed in two Maoist attacks in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
The first attack took place in Bijapur district where at least seven poll officials were killed after the bus they were travelling in was hit by a landmine blast. The driver and helper of the bus were also killed, three others were injured.

The second attack took place in the state's Darbha valley, where an ambulance was blown up using an IED. Five CRPF jawans were killed and six were injured in the blast.

ISLAMABAD:  On Wednesday morning 09/04/2014 more than 22 people were killed  in the blast and more than 95 get injured  at the I-10 fruit market near Pir Wadhai.
As per the Police the bomb was handle by the remote and the timer is set on the bomb was 8:15 AM. The bomb contain 5 kilograms of explosives and it was planted in a fruit box. The blast left a 1.5-metre (five-foot) diameter crater at the site.
The bomb was fitted by the terrorist when the crowd took place in the market and than the explosion happened and several people killed at the  spot. The injured and dead bodies were shifted to PIMS and other hospitals. Several injured are in critical condition.
Acting IGP Islamabad that there is regular patrolling was accruing in the market but it is not possible to search every truck one by one.
The Fruit Market Association revealed that no department of the city administration was willing to take responsibility for managing the market. The association said a boundary around the market should be constructed otherwise such tragic incidents will continue to take place.
The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) who extended their ceasefire with the government till April 10 condemned the bombing. The TTP's main spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said the group had nothing to do with the attack and urged the government to find those responsible.

This was the second terrorist attack in Islamabad this year after the district court attack on March 2.
